Dr. Dorgan’s research program aims to develop a mechanistic understanding of the ecological and biogeochemical processes occurring in marine sediments. Specific   interest in animal-sediment interactions, including the mechanics of burrowing and feeding and the impacts of these activities on the physical structure of sediments.

June 15-19, 2015 in Nagasaki, Japan 

The workshop consisted of about 60 talks from more than 12 countries, primarily given by PIs.
